  • Mrs Hemsley (parent) - "Hello Wayne. What a fantastic party you put on for Oliver and the kids. It was great to see so many of them joining in and all the time. I do appreciate it. Everyone enjoyed themselves and have asked me for your contact details. It looks like I'll be coming back next year unless you get Six Balls on the Lottery!"
  • Mrs Swift (parent) - "Dear Wayne. Thanks very much for the party it was a great success. I didn't do well when I tried to shade in the answers to your feedback form, but suffice to say we were more than happy with everything. Lydia said that she thought the games were fantastic and that you were lots of fun. She loved the sharks games the best, whereas Jerry liked the standing on the shapes game. I thought the sleeping/chasing game worked brilliantly with the wee ones, and I really appreciated how calm you are (with children and parents!)."
  • Mrs Nelson (parent) - "The rest of the party went really well. Leon and his friend's thoroughly enjoyed it; so much so that he wants the same again next year as does my hubby!! The activities were great, half an hour each was just right although I think Leon would have liked to continue the X-Streme Air Wars for another half hour. I received a lot of positive feedback from the children's parents saying they had enjoyed the party and wanted to know where I got your details from."
  • Mr & Mrs Quinn (parents) - "Thank you once again for entertaining everyone at Joe's party. All the kids really enjoyed themselves and we got some really good feedback from the parents."

  • Jan Ogle, Lead Public Health Nurse for Childhood Obesity, North Tyneside Council - "Hi Wayne, Thanks for
the Urban Games and X - Stream Air Wars sessions last night, it was brilliant all the children and parents were Image
talking about the sessions on the coach on the way home. We look forward to working with you again very soon.
  • Jan Ogle, Lead Public Health Nurse for Childhood Obesity, North Tyneside Council - All the children have loved the sessions, the children on our programme are 8 to 18 years old. The staff also join in the sessions, along with Wayne, sessions are always fun and very active. We also get the parents involved and they always enjoy it too. Some of our parents have requested information so they can have the session as a birthday party for their child. The games generate high-energy fun and encourage team building. Wayne is very professional in his approach and always explains the activities first. All of the Urban Active sessions have been a huge success.
  • Peter Watton, School Sports Co-ordinator, Billingham Campus School - Hi Wayne, just to let you know that the Archery sessions which you ran at Billingham Campus went really well. The pupils who took part have become really enthused about the sport. We chose Archery as it is an individual sport and we felt that it may encourage pupils to take part who may not usually take part in traditional games activities. We have managed to achieve this. The group that participated was made up of pupils who otherwise would rarely take part in other sporting activities, but really enjoyed your coaching and your sessions. I hope to continue this successful partnership in the future.
  • Mrs Robinson, Appletree Gardens First School - "Thank you for some great ideas for our PE lessons, your sessions were always well organised and resourced. The children responded really well to you, and the improvement in skill level was obvious. Thanks for some great sessions and ideas!"
  • Mrs Stamp, Appletree Gardens First School - "Thank you for the ideas I have used many of them in my own PE lessons! The children certainly became more confident in their own abilities and have taken their skills learnt during your sessions to help the rest of their class during my PE lessons."
  • Year 6 at King Edwards Primary School - "To Mr Dobson, thank you for taking year 6 for fitness. We had a great time. Hope to see you soon in High School. From year 6"
  • Mr Shepherd, Christ Church Primary School - "Just to say Multi Skills delivered by Wayne has been a huge success, very instructive to watch. It was excellent for Year 5/6 and would be absoultely fantastic for those further down the school. Thank you for all the support you gave our school - all the best in the future."
  • Mrs Rutherford, February Half Term Activity Day 07 - Many thanks Wayne for today. Andrew and Adam really enjoyed themselves...result!! They would be very keen to particiapte in any further events. You have a winning formula. The activities were different to those normally on offer, it's just a shame they weren't on all week!
  • Mrs Hall, February Half Term Activity Day 07 - "Darryl really enjoyed the day he spent with you at Whitley Bay High School during Half Term. He was completely "knackered" when he came home and could not even keep his head from dropping on the table when we were having dinner!! Keep up the good work."
Mrs Bucknall, February Half Term Activity Day 07 - "my son did say after the urban day at half term that the air rifle shooting was cool!!!"
  • Mr Piddrington (parent) - Wayne, My 13 year old son and some of his friends took part in an archery session supervised by yourself just before the Easter holidays as part of a birthday party. He thoroughly enjoyed the sport him and one or two of his friends would certainly be interested in attending the structured programme of weekly sessions you refer in your information leaflet.
  • Mrs King (parent) - "My son plus 4 friends from school attended the activity day at half term - loved it! Had a great day".
  • Louise Grice from the The Messenger - "The Urban Active features, activities and competitions have got local children exited and enthused about being healthy and having fun. The t-shirt competition we ran with Wayne and Urban Active was a great success".
