Urban Active provides Playground Leaders training courses for Lunchtime Supervisors and Teachers.

Wayne Dobson from Urban Active delivered a Playground Leaders training course for Primary school teachers and lunch time supervisors who work in Newcastle Primary Schools.

The training is to train staff to be able to deliver activities during the lunchtime break. staff. The course is also designed to encourage staff to go back into their school to train up the children to become Playground Leaders, as well training up other members of staff.

The training course involved communication tasks, playground and activity management in the first hour and playing and introducing new games to introduce in their school.
